Kirsten is a wearable artist with a difference. Her beautiful sculptural designs explore the juxtaposition between structure and the fluidity of textiles in both playful and technically challenging ways.
She also works as a freelance costume cutter and maker for film, theatre, opera and ballet and has worked within the production teams at various locations such as Pinewood studios, Warner Bros. Studios, The Royal Opera House, Angel’s The Costumiers and Sands Films.
Kirsten graduated from a design degree in Australia in 2000, majoring in three dimensional design and has a strong interest in exploring very sculptural forms, seeing how they compliment, emulate and accentuate the human form.
